Our mission is to
strengthen the role of creative and innovative thinking throughout the entire ecosystem of Széchenyi István University, linking design-based development with the needs of education, research, and industrial partnerships.
We work closely with the Science Park and the Design Campus to promote research and innovation, corporate collaboration, and the visibility of the university. Our strategic goal is to develop third mission activities as widely as possible. The Competence Centre aims to become one of the most influential design innovation workshops in the region, forming a bridge between the UNIVERSITY, INDUSTRY, the CREATIVE ECOSYSTEM, and SOCIETY, while contributing to strengthening the international position of the University.
